Bus and Coach

All a round the developed world city and municipal governments are looking at low carbon public transport systems. Many of these include buses. There are many low carbon offerings for buses. These include low carbon fuels, hydrogen fuel cells and trolley bus designs. CoolFleet offers the flexibility of the hybrid running on high blend bio-fuels. Buses run through the day on the hybrid system: the small engine generates power which is stored in the batteries, when these are full the engine cuts out saving fuel. On returning to the depot the bus may be plugged in to an electrical main. We are looking into partnerships with renewable energy providers for the plug-in aspect of the cycle. One option is the local micro-generation of power by mean of wind-turbine, photovoltaic cells or bio-fuel powered generator.
